ECUIPP lab students have installed air quality monitors in Robeson County in order to assess air quality and associated health impacts including Cardiovascular disease. The data will also be used to determine if air pollution is a contributing factor in the high rate of Cardiovascular disease present amongst the Lumbee American Indian population in Robeson County.
All data collected by the network is made available to Lumbee and Robeson County community partners.
